Finlandia Prize for Architecture 2026

Finlandia Prize for Architecture is awarded annually to projects that recognise creative architecture and highlight its cultural value and contribution to well-being. 

In 2026, four projects have been shortlisted for the Prize. The nominees are the Lost Shtetl Jewish Museum in Seduva, Helsingin Muurarimestari in Helsinki, Skib Campus in Pori and Kuusijärvi Smoke Saunas in Vantaa. 

According to the prize pre-selection jury, all the nominated projects represent sustainable solutions and high architectural quality. 

In 2026, the pre-selection jury comprises Professor Panu Savolainen (chair), Professor Anssi Lassila, Professor Sofie Pelsmakers, and architect Miia-Liina Tommila. The winner will be chosen by author and scholar specialising in European philosophy and intellectual history, Timo Miettinen.
