Virkkunen & Co Architects

The architectural firm was founded in 1954 by architect Eero Virkkunen, known in particular for the design of the Haukilahti Water Tower in Espoo. After he passed away in 1986, his son Risto Virkkunen took charge of the company with new partners. In 2012, architects Tuomas Kivinen and Nina Rusanen, young but long-time employees of the firm, became partners. In 2024, the name of the company changed to Kivinen Rusanen Architects.
