Published in connection with a biennial exhibition, the book displays high-quality Finnish architecture from 2008 and 2009, and this time readers can even enjoy poetry. Judged from this book, current Finnish architecture does not lack colour. The works, selected by a jury of experts, include buildings for living, office work, day care, education, culture and production, as well as town planning projects. Besides the project presentations, the book contains writings from experts and other writers and catalogues of architectural events. Writers: jury members, architects Heikki Aitoaho, Selina Anttinen and Johan Celsing (Sweden); architect, associate professor Peter MacKeith (USA); editor Matti Kalliokoski (Ilkka newspaper); author, poet Tomi Kontio. Graphic design: architect Roy Mänttäri.
