The workshop is an in depth introduction to application of an evidence-based practice model for healthcare architecture. The workshop will be conducted at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden 12-14 June 2012. Suggested participants include design professionals familiar with evidence-based design who wish to make effective use of a research informed practice model. This includes architects, designers, engineers, urban planners, project managers, facility planners, landscape architects, researchers, technology experts, etc. The workshop will be carried out under the leadership of Kirk Hamilton and with Roger Ulrich's involvement. It has been carried out several times previously with great success in the US. This is the first time we have the opportunity to arrange it in the Nordic Countries where the need for practical competence in Evidence Based Design is great.
