Snowball is a project aiming to bring together Finnish and Chinese architecture. It is part of Finland’s cultural programme for Shanghai World Expo.

The objective of the upcoming Snowball events, for the participants, invitees and delegates, is to get an insight into a diverse set of interests, perspectives and experiences from Finnish and local professionals operating in the field of architecture in China. The events also offer the possibility for Finnish architects to present their work to these professionals and the public. The overall programme consists of architecture presentations, networking events and field trips.
The two upcoming Snowball events are:
Snowball Helsinki – Arkkitehtuurivientiä Kiinaan, February 12 at noon-4 pm. Free entrance! Venue: Kiasma, Helsinki. The first Snowball event presents Finnish offices sharing their experiences from China. The event is free of charge and open for everyone!
Snowball Shanghai – Event on Finnish and Chinese Architecture, March 25–27 in Shanghai.The Snowball Shanghai seminar will offer opportunities for creating and deepening relationships between Finnish and Chinese professionals operating in the field of architectural and urban design. The programme ranges from public presentations, round table discussions and one-to-one conversations with colleagues, potential clients or the media to an information session about the Chinese market and its players, field excursions as well as cocktail receptions.
